Overview

This is a hands‑on leadership position where you’ll not only supervise but also actively participate in cleaning operations. You will support the Cleaning Manager in overseeing nightly tasks, managing a team, and ensuring the venue is spotless, safe, and professionally presented. You’ll be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across large‑scale event spaces and corporate function rooms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise overnight cleaning operations while performing cleaning duties yourself.
  • Ensure high‑quality outcomes by working alongside your team and setting the standard.
  • Assist with rostering, stock control, reporting and labour management.
  • Work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Maintain a safe and hygienic environment for clients, staff, and patrons.
Eligibility
  • The legal right to live and work in Australia without restrictions.
  • A valid visa that allows full‑time employment – Permanent Residency, Australian Citizenship, or a visa with unrestricted work rights.
  • No limitations on working hours. Must not be restricted to 24 hours.
  • The ability to work overnight shifts as required by the role.
  • No visa sponsorship available.
Qualifications / Experience
  • Training in safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment (advantageous).
  • Experience with ride‑on powered cleaning equipment (preferred).
  • Proven experience in commercial cleaning environments.
  • Familiarity with industrial cleaning products and equipment.
  • Previous overnight shift work.
  • Experience supervising teams of 5–10 staff.
