Job Title:2D CAD & Job Flow - Manufacturing (Training or Experienced Pathway)
About the roleAt MRC Industries, we're looking for someone with 2D CAD skills who wants to be part of a small, supportive team in Bayswater. This role is targeting around 38 hours a week with flexible hours.
We're open to two types of candidates:
Training Pathway - You're confident in 2D CAD and keen to learn. We'll teach you quoting, invoicing, customer contact, nesting software, and our step-by-step processes so you can grow into an all-rounder.
Experienced Pathway - You already bring CAD skills plus experience handling quotes, invoicing, and dealing with customers independently. You'll hit the ground running, helping keep jobs moving smoothly and ensuring customers are looked after.
What you'll be doing
Cleaning customer files, creating DXFs, and attaching them to job tickets
Keeping jobs moving by updating statuses and coordinating priorities
Checking manufacturability early so issues don't slip through
Talking with customers about drawings, tolerances, quotes, and updates
Maintaining tidy file naming, revisions, and job records
