OnSite Recruitment are currently seeking candidates for Traffic Controllers for multiple traffic control projects around Victoria. Assignments will be based in and around Metropolitan Melbourne, East, North and Western suburbs. These assignments can include roadworks, tree care and pruning, sporting events, festivals and parades!

Looking for controllers to take on extra work and accept last-minute shifts. All shifts will likely be booked the day prior.

Core Responsibilities/Job Requirements

• Use of Stop/Slow Bat to control traffic

• Implement and monitor operational Traffic Management Plans

• Load & unload vehicles with equipment & signage

• Vehicle & equipment pre-start checks

• Report site hazards and near misses

• Ensure public safety through effective communication with team members & the public

Skills and experience

• RIIOHS205E - Stop/Slow Bat

• RIIOHS302E - Implementation of Traffic Management Plans

  OR

• TM2 & TC2 (placement completed) 

• CPCCWHS1001 - Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry (White Card)

• HLTAID011 - Provide First Aid (preferred)

• HLTAID009 - Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) (preferred)

• Victorian Driver's License

• Must have complete Traffic Control PPE including Radio

• Excellent communication skills

• Strong work ethic
