Position Summary
The Technical Services Specialist plays a pivotal role in bringing our innovations to life. This role's territory is in NSW Region and will work cross-functionally with sales, R&D, regulatory, and marketing teams to provide technical leadership and ensure the successful development, launch, and adoption of FMC's crop protection solutions.
Reporting to: Technical Extension Lead
Location: NSW
The Role
Plan, coordinate and execute field trials and demonstration programs, assessing and reporting results.
Act as a technical contact for customers, industry scientists, and agronomy professionals.
Provide technical training and support to FMC staff, customers, and channel partners.
Develop technical content such as brochures, fact sheets, and articles.
Support the commercialization of new products while providing technical assistance for existing lines.
Handle technical enquiries and complaints, ensuring timely resolution.
Conduct trials supporting label extensions and ensuring compliance with FMC's safety, environmental and transport standards.
The Candidate
Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Science or related discipline.
Minimum 5 to 8 years of working experience in crop protection R&D, agricultural chemicals, or agronomy.
Strong knowledge of Australian agronomic practices and agricultural chemistry.
Skilled in trial design, execution and analysis (Microsoft Office, statistical tools).
Regular regional travel is required to manage trials, engage with customers, and support FMC's field programs.
A collaborative team player with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
