About the Role: The Large Loss Supervisor plays a critical role in overseeing the delivery of complex, high-value insurance repair projects across Melbourne. With a strong focus on KPIs, subcontractor quality, and exceptional customer service, the role ensures major repair works are completed accurately, efficiently, and to the highest standard. Acting as a key liaison between customers, insurers, loss adjusters, and internal teams, the Large Loss Supervisor drives the timely completion of projects while delivering value-for-money outcomes. Working closely with senior stakeholders and trusted contractors, this role is pivotal in supporting the successful delivery of large-loss services within strict performance requirements.
What You'll Do: - Oversee and deliver large and complex insurance repair projects from initiation to completion.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, contractual obligations, and HSEQ standards.
- Conduct site audits, implement corrective actions, and promote a safety-first culture.
- Maintain accurate site documentation, update schedules, and track project progress.
- Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Coordinate emergency make-safe works and lead response during surge events and natural disasters.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers, adjusters, contractors, and suppliers.
- Accurately forecast, monitor, and control budgets, ensuring profitability of large-loss projects.
- Manage variations and deliver cost-effective repair solutions.
- Prepare financial forecasts and provide regular updates to management.
- Maintain accurate data across CRM platforms and recommend process improvements.
- Act with professionalism, integrity, and customer focus to uphold the company's reputation.

- White Card and current driver's licence.
- Extensive experience managing large-loss insurance projects.
- Strong technical knowledge of residential and commercial construction methods.
- Proven ability to read scopes of works and identify the best, most cost-effective solutions.
- High-level written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement and professional reporting.
- Strong time management and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure.
- Solid understanding of HSEQ requirements and legislation.
- Advanced systems and reporting skills with adaptability to changing workloads.
