The role is primarily office-based, with occasional site work, providing a balance of technical, commercial, and project coordination experience.
At Enviropacific, we are committed to supporting the growth of our people. This role provides a clear pathway to grow into a Project Engineer role with increasing responsibility, and ultimately toward Project Management.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Site Engineer, you will contribute to the successful delivery of water treatment projects across NSW. You will play an active role in both the commercial and technical aspects of projects, with the ability to broaden your skills in project coordination and client interface.
Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting with project planning, scheduling, and reporting, ensuring milestones are achieved on time and on budget.
Supporting procurement activities, including supplier engagement, quotations, purchase orders, and delivery tracking.
Preparing and maintaining project documentation, including progress reports, meeting minutes, quality records, and compliance documentation.
Contributing to tender preparation, cost estimating, and proposals, assisting with business development activities.
Coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to support smooth project execution.
Supporting contract administration, including document control, approvals, and project compliance.
Attending site occasionally to assist with inspections, commissioning, and subcontractor/client meetings.
This role provides exposure to every stage of project delivery, laying the foundation for progression into a Project Engineer role with greater leadership responsibility.
ABOUT YOU
This role will suit an engineer with a few years of practical experience who is ambitious about growing into a future Project Manager. You will have a strong technical foundation and a genuine interest in water treatment, while looking for an opportunity to broaden your exposure to project delivery, client engagement, and commercial responsibilities.

A Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Process, or Mechanical Engineering.
2-3 years' professional engineering experience, ideally with exposure to water treatment, construction, or process industries.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
Excellent organisational skills, with proven ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
A proactive, ambitious mindset with an interest in developing into project engineering and management roles.
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to problem-solve and take initiative.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with scheduling or project management software is an advantage.
