Are you a dedicated and driven Nursing professional ready to elevate your leadership journey? We're inviting ambitious Nurse Leaders a unique opportunity designed to prepare and empower the next generation of Nurse Managers at Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District.
This role will work with the Nursing and Midwifery Directorate to lead the development and implementation of the NBMLHD Nursing and Midwifery Leadership Excellence Program, an initiative aimed at strengthening leadership capability among Nursing and Midwifery professionals in Executive and Senior Management roles (e.g. Facility Directors of Nursing & Midwifery, Service Nurse Managers, and Nurse Managers Level 4 and above). Over a two-year timeline, the role will strategically design and develop a tailored program to guide leadership growth and capability uplift, actively implement and integrate the Nursing and Midwifery Leadership Excellence Program into standard practice across NBMLHD. The position will work in close partnership with NBMLHD corporate services (including Organisational Development, Education and Training, Finance, Clinical Governance and Planning) to co-design a leadership program that enhances the effectiveness of current Nursing leaders and supports succession planning by identifying and developing emerging talent.
