About the teamThe department's Shared Services Hub is at the forefront of service delivery under the Whole-of-Government Shared Services Program. The Shared Services Hub is committed to delivery effective and efficient payroll services in line with Service Level Agreements negotiated with each client agency.
Working the Hub presents a unique opportunity to be involved in innovative service delivery arrangements relating to both systems and processes, and to collaborate across teams and across the public sector.

We are building a merit pool to fill current and future vacancies in Shared Services Hub. Initially roles will be offered as non-ongoing opportunities, with the possibility of converting to ongoing employment.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic organisation responsible for delivering payroll services to a range of client agencies with over 14,000 payslips processed each fortnight.
The teams adopt a collaborative and energetic approach to service delivery and place a strong emphasis on meeting and exceeding service levels.

To be eligible for employment in the APS and the department, candidates must be Australian Citizens.
Positions require a Baseline security clearance and successful candidates will be required to obtain and maintain a clearance at this level.

A merit pool may be established and used to fill future vacancies within 18 months from the date the vacancy was first advertised in the Gazette.
