About the role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Recruitment Consultant to join our Perth, WA office on a full-time, permanent basis.
This role will see you take ownership of the end-to-end recruitment process, supporting our growing workforce and ensuring an exceptional candidate and employee experience. Working closely with hiring managers and other stakeholders, you will deliver tailored recruitment solutions that align with our organisational needs.
Key responsibilities
Manage the full recruitment cycle, from advertising and sourcing through to interviewing, selection and onboarding.
Build and manage job advertising campaigns across multiple platforms.
Conduct interviews using structured processes and tools to assess candidate suitability.
Complete all mandatory compliance checks including references, police checks, visa checks and others as required.
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in line with company policy and legal requirements.
Provide timely responses to HR and recruitment-related inquiries.
Prepare recruitment reports and support ongoing process improvements.
Advise on policies, legislation, awards and contracts relevant to employment.
Negotiate employment offers and terms with candidates.
Support induction, orientation and ongoing professional development initiatives in partnership with business managers.
Stay up to date with changes in aged care industry requirements and broader HR practices.
What we're looking for
Proven experience managing end-to-end recruitment processes.
Hands-on experience with candidate selection tools such as phone interviews, reference checks and assessments.
Strong knowledge of employment practices, compliance checks and workforce legislation.
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Knowledge of the aged care or disability sector, including workforce needs and challenges, is highly regarded.
Ability to balance competing priorities and communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
