Picker, Packer & Retail Role
We're a small, family-owned business with a strong commitment to friendly, accurate, efficient service. We run a retail shop, small warehouse, and online store, and pride ourselves on giving customers a positive experience with expert advice and fast, accurate order turnaround.
We're looking for a reliable person who can help with picking and packing orders accurately & neatly, phone support, retail, stock handling, and technical support.
About the role:
Picking and packing orders with accuracy and attention to detail
Answering phones and assisting customers in a polite, helpful way
Serving customers in the retail shop
Receiving and handling stock
Keeping the shop and showroom neat, tidy, and well-presented
Learning technical product knowledge (training provided - quick learners will thrive)
General showroom and warehouse upkeep
What we value:
Reliability and punctuality (Mondays are essential)
Good manners and a friendly, confident approach to customers
Neatness, tidiness, and pride in presentation
Ability to pick things up quickly and use initiative
Confidence answering phones without being a know-it-all
Experience in the pool or spa industry, or personal use of pools/spas, will be viewed favourably
Hours & Pay:
Part-time role with the Possibility for more hours, up to a full-time role, if you prove you're capable and genuinely want them
Core hours: Mondays (essential), with additional shifts likely Tues/Wed mornings (approx. 8am-12pm)
Extra hours depending on workload
Ideally, we'd like to have someone who can move into full-time work with the scope to possibly manage the store while we are away.
This role suits someone who enjoys variety, can pick up technical knowledge quickly, and takes pride in providing great customer service while keeping things organised.
