PDHPE Teacher (Temporary - 1 Year)

Start Date: 1 January 2026

Full Time (1.0 FTE)

MLC School is seeking a passionate and skilled PDHPE Teacher who will teach stage 6, to join our vibrant learning community for a 12-month leave cover. About the Role
  • Teach Years 7-10 PDHPE, HSC PDHPE, and IB Sports, Exercise and Health Science (SEHS).
  • Design and deliver inclusive, engaging programs aligned with the School's Learning and Teaching Framework.
  • Foster student wellbeing and academic growth through differentiated learning and collaborative practice.
  • Actively contribute to the School's Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Demonstrate a willingness to regularly update teaching and learning resources in alignment with current best practices and syllabus requirements.
  • Write programs in preparation for the new 2027 syllabus.
  • Contribute to the co-curricular life of the School and support the holistic development of every girl.
Essential Requirements:
  • Experience teaching HSC PDHPE.
  • Ability to teach Years 7-10 PDHPE.
  • Strong understanding of PDHPE pedagogy and curriculum.
  • Experience teaching Physical Activity and Sports Studies (PASS).
  • Experience teaching IB SEHS is desirable but not essential.
