Maintenance Officer - Lane Cove NSW $31.51 per hour + Super + NFP Salary Packaging Benefits Full-Time permanent position, 38 hours per week
Are you a hands-on maintenance professional who takes pride in keeping facilities safe, functional, and well-presented?
We're looking for a Maintenance Officer to join our team at Lane Cove, where you'll play an important role in maintaining a welcoming and comfortable environment for older members of our community.
Our residential Aged Care sites are Uniting Kamilaroi and Uniting St. Columba’s.
From time to time, you may need to work in other locations within the local area. You will have use of a Uniting vehicle for all work-related matters; however, the vehicle is not for personal use and must be garaged overnight at a Uniting location

About the role
As our Maintenance Officer, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of our facilities, ensuring everything is safe, functional, and well-presented for our residents.
You’ll be:
Carrying out general maintenance and repairs
Responding to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
Maintain outdoor areas
Supporting a safe environment through regular checks and upkeep
Working independently while being part of a supportive team

Previous experience in maintenance, handyperson, or similar roles
Basic skills across plumbing, carpentry, or general repairs
A current driver’s licence
