St Justin's Primary School requires an experienced, passionate and committed part time Learning Diversity Leader (FTE 0.5) for 2026, with the possibility of extending into 2027 and beyond. Our school values the whole child, focusing not just on the academic, but the social, emotional, spiritual and physical wellbeing and protection of each child.

The successful applicant needs to:

Applicants will possess the skills and abilities to foster home-school partnerships, build trusting relationships with students and families and work collaboratively with staff to personalise the learning for at-risk students. The successful applicant will have an understanding and working knowledge of NCCD and the requirements to fulfil this annually.

The position will initially be offered on a fixed-term contract until the end of 2026, with an opportunity for renewal.

Applicants are asked to demonstrate experience in the following:

• developing and maintaining respectful and caring relationships with students, families and colleagues
• a working knowledge of the NCCD and how to effectively meet the requirements and evidence gathering required for funding
• leading professional development in line with the School's strategic plan and meeting the diverse needs of staff
• working effectively with school staff to support students who have additional learning needs to access learning through planned adjustments and/or learning programs
• organising and facilitating Program Support Group (PSG) meetings
• maintaining accurate records and tracking the progress of students with specific learning needs

Our school is situated on a beautiful 3 hectare site in Wheeler's Hill. We have two, synthetically grassed ovals, a netball court, a basketball court and paved areas marked with games. Our back oval provides views of the Dandenong Ranges. We are close to a shopping centre, an art gallery, a local library and a retirement village.
