About the role
We are seeking a highly experienced Heavy Combination (HC) Truck Driver to join our team in Edinburgh North, SA 5111. As an Heavy Combination Truck Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of materials to support construction projects across SA. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging and rewarding projects within the Construction industry.
What you'll be doing
Operate heavy combination vehicles; truck and quad dog to transport materials to job sites
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe working condition
Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road
Maintain accurate records of driving hours, fuel consumption, and other relevant data
Collaborate with the logistics team to optimise delivery schedules and routes
What we're looking for
Valid Heavy Combination (HC) driver's licence with a clean driving record
Minimum 3 years' experience operating heavy combination vehicles in a construction or transport environment
Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and best practices for operating heavy vehicles
Construction White Card
Ability and willingness to complete regular maintenance including greasing and tensioning of tyres
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays if required
