To support additional project growth, we are seeking a experienced FIFO HD Fitter/Mechanic (Prime Movers, Trailers & Earthmoving Equipment) to join the team on 2/1 roster at our mine site operations at Mt Magnet.

You will join existing crews of Leading Hands, HD Fitters, Auto-Electricians, Boilermakers, Apprentice Fitters and a team of Service Personnel & Trades Assistants.

 Job Offerings:

·       Permanent full-time opportunity on a long-term project

·       We offer $72 per hour plus superannuation on all hours worked (12.5)

·       2/1 - 2 weeks Day Shift only

·       2/1 roster - One way flight paid to any major Capital City in Australia

·       Weekly pay

·       Paid annual leave & sick pay

We also offer a DIDO option to Mt Magnet (3 hours from Geraldton) with paid mileage each swing.

Duties & Responsibilities:

·       Focus on maintaining our Kenworth Fleet and Trailers whilst working on fitting duties on our Earthmoving Equipment (Komatsu), Service Trucks, LV's and other equipment as required

·       Actively participate in promoting and upholding our positive approach to safety

·       Respectful & honest communication with Leading Hands and your fellow team members

·       Maintain compliance to service schedule and ensure compliance with all necessary paperwork

You will be responsible for the maintenance, service and repair of: 

• Kenworth C509, C510 and T909 

• Bruce Rock, Roadwest & Boomerang Trailers

• Komatsu WA500/600 & 900 Wheel Loaders

• Komatsu GD655 Graders

• Service Trucks

• Toyota Light Vehicles

To be considered for this role, successful applicants will possess or able to obtain the following:

·       Prior experience in maintaining and servicing Kenworth Prime Movers & Trailers with Earthmoving Equipment in a Mining/Civil environment, especially with Loaders & Graders

·       Heavy Diesel Mechanic Trade Qualification (Australian recognised)

·       Air Conditioning qualification

·       Ability to pass a pre-employment medical

·       National Police Clearance or ability to obtain one 

·       Must hold Australian working rights
