About the role

Betts Transport P/L is seeking a Full Time MC Linehaul Driver with minimum 5yr experience (Sydney/Newcastle/Tamworth/Brisbane or anywhere in between!) to join our growing team. With our main depot in Newcastle we are looking to broaden our horizons with our driver base. As a Full Time MC Linehaul Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods across various routes. This is a full-time role.

What you'll be doing

1. Safely operate articulated motor vehicles (MC class) to transport goods across regional and interstate routes

2. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and safety

3. Comply with all relevant road transport regulations, including logbook and fatigue management requirements

4. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and weight distribution

5. Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with clients

What we're looking for

1. A current MC class driver's licence with a good driving record

2. Minimum 5 years' experience operating articulated vehicles (MC class) in a linehaul or long-distance transport role

3. Excellent driving skills and knowledge of road rules and safe driving practices

4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team

5. Commitment to safety and attention to detail

6. Excellent customer service skills and communication abilities

7. Current BFM certificate

8. Current medical certificate
