Mechanical Fitters - SINO FIFO Project2:1 Roster | $62.68/hr Flat + Super |

We're recruiting on behalf of our client for experienced Mechanical Fitters to join an upcoming FIFO project at SINO Iron, Cape Preston. This is a great opportunity for reliable tradespeople seeking well-paid FIFO work with excellent camp conditions and long-term potential.

Roster & Pay:

• 2:1 FIFO Roster: 7 days, 7 nights, 7 days RnR
• 12-hour shifts
• $62.68/hr flat rate paid on all hours (including super)
• FIFO from Perth | Excellent camp conditions

About the Role: You'll be joining a professional maintenance crew performing shutdown and ongoing fixed plant maintenance. The role involves mechanical repairs, breakdown response, inspections, and overhauls. You must be confident working on site under strict safety conditions and be clean-shaven for fit testing.

Key Duties Include:

• Fixed plant maintenance and repairs
• Breakdown response and troubleshooting
• Pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, crushers
• Mechanical inspections and condition reporting
• Supporting daily team maintenance targets
• Working safely in a high-risk, heavy industrial environment

Tickets & Requirements

• Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter - essential
• White Card - essential
• Confined Space Entry - essential
• Working at Heights - essential
• Gas Test Atmospheres - essential
• Fire Attack Firefighting (FAFF)
• SINO Induction - preferred, not essential
• Must be clean-shaven (for respirator fit testing)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical & DAS
• Own transport and hand tools
• Strong safety record and ability to follow site processes
