The focus of this diverse role will be to manage the tendering, commercial and financial budgets and submissions for all projects under your control. You will set-up, oversee and develop the tendering processes, source quality sub-contractors and suppliers and assist in tender selection. Future opportunities for career progression will also be available.    Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for commercial fit out and shopfitting projects.
• Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to determine scope of works and cost impacts.
• Source and negotiate pricing from subcontractors and suppliers across multiple trades and regions. Conduct site visits and attend pre-tender meetings as required
• Identify and assess potential risks and opportunities within project proposals.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., design, project management, procurement) to ensure estimate accuracy.
• Maintain and update estimating databases, unit rates, and supplier/subcontractor pricing.
• Assist in value engineering and cost-saving strategies without compromising design intent or quality.
• Support handover process from estimating to project delivery teams.
• Keep up to date with industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and construction methodologies

 Key Selection Criteria:

• Minimum 2-3 years of estimating experience in fit out, shopfitting, or interior construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, scopes of work, and relevant codes/regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously and work to strict deadlines.
• Current Australian drivers licence
• Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
