Job Summary:
We are seeking a professional, friendly, and organised Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service while caring for patients within our orthodontic practice. This role requires excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Dental Assisting Responsibilities:
Preparing clinic for patients
Chair side assisting orthodontist and auxiliaries
Infection control practice
Patient care
Patient instructions
Some reception and administration duties
Laboratory work
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional training or certification in dental/medical office administration is a plus.
Experience: Prior experience in a dental or orthodontic office is preferred but not required. Customer service or administrative experience in a healthcare setting is an advantage but not essential.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in using dental or medical office management software, as well as general office equipment. Familiarity with orthodontic terminology is a plus.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Ability to interact professionally with patients, staff, and doctors.
Organisational Skills: Must be detail-oriented, with strong multitasking and time management skills.
