About this OpportunityUQ Sport is seeking applications from an enthusiastic Customer Service Officer to work within our busy Fitness Centre based at the University of Queensland.
This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who is highly motivated, outgoing and energetic with excellent communication skills.
In this role you will:
Responsible for fitness centre opening/closing procedures, plus presentation and cleaning of the venue and facilities
Answering phones, emails and in person customer enquiries & providing information about UQ Sport products, memberships and services
Point of sale duties for the shop including cash handling
Selling and restocking retail products
Equipment setup and pack down as required.
Assisting with some basic administration duties.
To be successful in the role you will have:
First Aid certificate
CPR certificate
Previous experience in Customer Service environment desirable
Computer literate - previous experience with membership sales/cash handling/POS systems highly regarded
