About the RoleWe're seeking a Family and Domestic Violence Case Worker to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women and children impacted by family and domestic violence.
In this role, you will:
Provide trauma-informed case management and safety planning
Support clients through crisis and short-term recovery pathways
Coordinate wraparound services, referrals, and advocacy
Work collaboratively as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team
We welcome applicants with community services or case management experience. Formal qualifications are not required.
You will bring:
Experience supporting vulnerable clients
Strong communication, empathy, and conflict resolution skills
Ability to manage risk assessments and safety planning
Commitment to cultural safety and trauma-informed care
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and those with lived experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
You will need (or be willing to obtain):
National Police Clearance
Working With Children Check
Up-to-date Influenza vaccination
$80,000 - $90,000 + Super (based on experience)
Salary packaging up to $15,900
6 weeks annual leave + Remote Area Allowance ($1,300)
