The integrated end-to-end rural solutions package also provides customers with the benefits of utilising Lindsay Transport's refrigerated fleet to deliver rural supplies to farms and transporting fresh produce direct to major east coast markets.    The Role:    We are seeking a Box Maker to join our Lindsay Rural team in Brisbane on a Full time basis.  

Monday to Friday roster, 7am starts.

This role would suit a mechanically minded person as you will also be maintaining the machine.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Safe and appropriate operation of the Box Machine to produce cartons.
• Pre-checks, manual configuration, ongoing maintenance & cleaning of the machine.
• Quality checking of cartons and stack & store in appropriate manner.
• Unloading/loading trucks
• Handling supplier claims
• General housekeeping of yard and warehouse

About you:   The candidates we are looking for will have:

• Current and valid Forklift ticket preferred
• Prior experience in a similar environment, use of Box Machine highly regarded
• Mechanical background advantageous
• Good attention to detail with a strong customer service focus.
• Good work ethic, reliability and good communication skills
• Able to take direction, work under pressure and to ever changing timelines
• Have a commitment to workplace health and safety.

To be successful for this role applicants must:

• Pass a Commercial Drivers Health Assessment including drug and alcohol test
• Be flexible and able to work over weekends as required
• Able to work in and around chemical, fertilizer, nutrient and packaging
