Hastings Deering is currently recruiting for a Parts Administrator to be based at our Acacia Ridge facility. This is a permanent fulltime, Monday to Friday role.

Reporting to the SEQ Parts Manager, this role will be required to provide support to the parts operations specifically related to department and customer communication, collect customers and service order expediting to meet the company expectations and ensure customer satisfaction.

About You

• Ability to engage, influence and achieve strong customer relationships
• Ability to work within a high volume, team environment
• Proactive, positive and flexible approach to completion of work
• Previous experience in a Parts Administration role, exposure to parts ordering processing, and complexities will be advantageous, however not essential
• Strong organisational and administrative skills, including an ability to prioritise workloads, meet deadlines and manage a varied workload, in a busy professional environment
• You must have strong computer knowledge working with Microsoft Office system, along with proven stakeholder and customer-centric engagement skills
• High attention to detail

The key responsibilities of this role will include but not be limited to:

• Proactively contact collect order customers parts have been set to delivered status
• Ensuring customer collect orders are monitored and collected within a reasonable timeframe
• Working with service to expedite all machine breakdown parts requests
• Source Parts backorders directly at point of document creation
• Ensure the freight recovery policy and procedures are adhered to
• Review of customer backordered parts orders and update outstanding customer orders
• Customer communication, providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers
