Project Building Supplies has a great opportunity for an experienced individual with honesty, reliability and professionalism to be our Warehouse Store person located in Balcatta.

Duties & Responsibilities

Warehouse Store person role including Forklift operation, pick/packing, processing orders, receiving/dispatching and loading/unloading trucks and containers.

To be successful you will also need the following:

• Reconciling incoming stock against paperwork

• Arranging stock in a cohesive manner

• Inventory control and ongoing management

• Forklift operation

• Loading and unloading vehicles

• Allocation of goods to warehouse

• Experience with a computerised stock control system would be an advantage

• Proven Pick & Pack skills

• General House Keeping

• White Card (preferred)

• Minimum five years in a similar role (preferred)

To be successful in this role you will have the following skills:

• A team orientated attitude

• Good verbal communication skills

• Experience in Warehousing and logistics

• Minimum 3-4 years of warehousing experience is required

• Previous experience in a similar role

• Must be available to start immediately

• Must have current Forklift license

• Reliable transport & Valid Driver's License

• Highly organised, with strong time management skills

• Ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol screen

• Ability to be self-motivated and hard working

• Must be physically fit

• Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident

This is a casual position with working hours typically being 38 plus overtime offered based on performance, with a probation period of 6 months. You will be a part of a small but growing team who are friendly and respectful and who pride themselves on teamwork; with growth there will be opportunities to convert to a permanent position.

Our warehouse is open and operational 6am to 4:30pm and shifts will be offered within this time frame.
