About the role

Daily operation of multiple warehouse activities including:

·         Receive daily picking slips, picking with accuracy/prepare the orders for next day delivery

·         Heavy lifting is required therefore must demonstrate good medical condition and have previously worked in a fast-paced environment 

·         Picking bedding and furniture

·         Must have LO/LF forklift licence (reach experience highly regarded)

·         Ensuring that OHS standards are followed

·         Develop and maintaining a sound knowledge of the company's operation and product.

·         Participation in annual stocktake

Positive attitude to achieve results as a team, including:

·         Interaction with truck drivers to ensure trucks are loaded efficiently and accurately for delivery, assisting drivers with the load as required  

·         Interaction with contractors for containers unloading and storage in racking

·         Working alongside warehouse floor staff

Skills and experience:

·         Reach fork experience highly regarded 

·         Physically fit to work with bulky and heavy stock items

·         2 years previous warehouse experience 

·         Must be able to read and write English

·         Ability to work Monday to Friday with occasional weekend during peak times. 

·         Ability to work unsupervised, picking with accuracy, prioritise your workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced warehousing environment.
