About the role
Azure Specialists Home Care Services, a leading home care package provider of quality aged care support services in Eastern and SouthEastern suburbs of Melbourne , is seeking passionate and compassionate Support Workers and Personal Care Assistants to join our dynamic team. In this casual role, you will play a vital part in enhancing the lives of our clients and supporting their independence and wellbeing.
What you'll be doing
Providing personalised support and assistance with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping and social engagement
Ensuring a safe, comfortable and stimulating environment for our elderly clients
Advocating for client needs and collaborating with multidisciplinary care teams
Documenting client progress and maintaining accurate records
Adhering to organisational policies, procedures and industry best practices
What we're looking for
A Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification in Aged Care, Disability or Community Services; any healthcare related qualifications
Currently undertaking Nursing course desirable
Experience providing direct care and support to elderly individuals in the community
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Patience, empathy and a caring nature
The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
A current First Aid certificate, Manual Handling and police check
A current and valid Driver's License with a reliable car.
