The Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network runs from Kangaroo Island to Eudunda, wrapping all the way around our metropolitan areas (this position is in Strathalbyn). ABOUT STRATHALBYN AGED CARE

Strathalbyn Aged Care is a residential aged care facility that supports residents through ageing in place, providing care for people with varying needs. This includes our Memory Support Unit, which accommodates up to 24 residents living with different stages of dementia.

We accommodate both permanent residents and respite care, with capacity for 92 residents. Co-located with the Strathalbyn & District Soldiers Memorial Hospital, which is also part of the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network, we are well-positioned to provide comprehensive and coordinated care.

Our team spans a wide range of roles - from Direct Care Attendants, Enrolled and Registered Nurses, and Nurse Unit Managers/leadership roles, through to Allied Health professionals. Together, we aim to ensure every resident can live the best life possible, supported by compassionate care and a vibrant Leisure & Lifestyle team who deliver meaningful activities and excursions.

WHAT ELSE DO YOU NEED TO KNOW/WHAT IS ESSENTIAL FOR SUCCESS?

  • You will be required to hold registration with AHPRA to practice as a Registered Nurse or Nurse/Midwife within our organisation.
