About the teamThe National Measurement Institute (NMI) is a large division within the Department of Industry, Science, and Resources (DISR). The NMI supports DISR in meeting its objectives by being the national authority on measurement. We play a fundamental role underpinning the Australian economy by maintaining and regulating Australia's measurement system, developing and maintaining national measurement standards, and delivering world-class measurement products and client services.
The Office of the CEO is a small, high performing team providing Executive support to the CEO, coordinating small projects and administering shared services at the Lindfield site.
The opportunityWe are seeking an individual with personal drive and integrity who will uphold the NMI values (Inclusive, Innovative, Accountable, Adaptable, Influential and Strategic) and APS Code of Conduct.
The Support Officer's (SO) primary role is to support projects at NMI Lindfield site and lead a small team of administration staff. The SO will assist the Office of the CEO and NMI branches as needed. This includes support to other Senior Executive and collaboration with administration staff across the division as required. It may involve work across a broad spectrum of areas and involve a wide range of tasks.

Positions require a Baseline security clearance and successful candidates will be required to obtain and maintain a clearance at this level.
