About the Opportunity

Consumer and Business Services (CBS) is seeking multiple Senior Client Services Officer's with experience in providing timely, high-quality advice to a diverse client base, to join the Liquor Licensing and Gambling and Associations business units.

As a Senior Client Services Officer, you will:

  • Provide expert advice to CBS clients in accordance with relevant legislation and policy requirements.

  • Answer and resolve complex enquires via phone, email and mail.

  • Support team members by managing complex and challenging client issues.

  • Assess applications and make informed decisions aligned with legislative and policy requirements.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience interpreting and administering legislation effectively.

  • Strong initiative and sound judgment to ensure clients receive appropriate and tailored advice.

  • Experience in handling complaints in a considerate and professional manner.

  • Problem-solving skills and excellent customer service ability to resolve sensitive enquiries.

  • Ability to evaluate applications comprehensively, providing clear recommendations or decisions as needed.

Special Conditions for Employment

Employment is dependent upon a National Police Certificate clearance that the AGD finds satisfactory. Successful applicants will be provided further information if an interview is requested.
