The opportunity:
Are you passionate about Security and ready to kick-start your career within Defence industry? We're seeking an enthusiastic Entry-Level Security Representative to join our team and support the delivery of a safe and secure environment for our people, information and assets. This role offers hands-on experience, training, and the opportunity to build your expertise in Defence and corporate security practices.
What You'll Be DoingIn this role, you'll assist in:
Maintaining company security assets, policies, and procedures to meet Defence and corporate requirements.
Supporting Security Risk Management and planning activities, including reporting.
Administering security programs for classified or proprietary materials, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements.
Handling, storing, and retaining security documents and correspondence in line with policy.
Protecting classified and proprietary information across company programs.
Supporting the facilitation of security clearances, vetting requests, transfers, and updates in coordination with Australian Security agencies.
Supporting overseas travel security requirements, including clearance notifications and pre-travel briefings.
What You'll Bring
Exposure to Defence Industrial Security Program (DISP) requirements and security standards in Defence or industry settings.
Knowledge of COMSEC requirements, including accounting, recording, and custodial procedures.
Some experience with Defence security clearance processes and procedures.
Strong computer literacy with the ability to prepare, analyse, and interpret reports.
Basic to intermediate MS Office skills, with the ability to learn new systems and tools quickly.
A proactive attitude, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

Special Requirements:
