Position Title:  Project Officer Occupational Violence Prevention Projects Employment Type: Temporary (Full-time / Up to 21months) with possible extension Salary range: $109,857 per annum to $129,624 per annum + 12% super and benefits (Health Manager 2) Location: NSW Ambulance State Operations Centre, Sydney Olympic Park Applications Close: Midnight on 06 October 2025

About the Opportunity:

The Project Officer supports the implementation of strategic occupational violence projects - most notably the Body Worn Camera (BWC) and In-Vehicle Camera (IVC) projects - through coordination of core project activities, stakeholder liaison, documentation development, and delivery support. The role is responsible for progressing key project workstreams under guidance from the Program Manager, ensuring timely execution of tasks, risk tracking, communications, and reporting.

Please note: This position is for a period of up to twenty-one (21) months with possible extension.  

About You:

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience supporting complex projects in a public sector, health, safety or operational environment.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of WHS principles and/or violence prevention strategies.
  • Experience with procurement, data governance or privacy considerations in technology-related projects.
  • Can communicate effectively using negotiation and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders, conduct workshops and deliver presentations to a broad audience.
