About the Role
We are recruiting for a Preventative Maintenance Technician (Electrical) to join the weekend service crew based in Wacol, Brisbane. This is a permanent full-time position providing preventative maintenance support across the packaging production department.
Roster: 9.5-hour shifts working 4 days on, 1 off, 4 days on, 5 off.
About You:
You have experience in a similar role and industry and in addition to the planned maintenance, breakdown and repair activities you are familiar with, you also have the skills to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in process, systems and equipment.
You'll Bring:
QLD Electrical licence
Capability to work in a fast-moving, high-volume manufacturing environment
Proficient knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
Knowledge of local regulatory and statutory requirements relating to industrial services and environment
Basic knowledge in electrical and low / high Voltage systems, Lockout Tag-Out procedures and Safety of Electrical Operations
Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
