King Customs Laser is an established high-volume laser engraving service provider, now expanding into flatbed UV digital printing, so we're on the hunt for a Digital UV Print Operator!
You will be responsible for producing high quality prints directly on to a range of large, non-flat objects. To be successful you must have exceptional attention to detail to ensure consistent quality throughout the job.
You will be responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of our new Inkcups X5-T High Throw flatbed inkjet printer (full training provided), and must have the ability to work with minimal supervision.
This role is casual, Monday through Friday ongoing, approx 30-35 hours per week.
More specifically your duties will include the following:
Prep jobs and keep things moving
Work to job schedule/deadlines
Manage artwork files
Safely operate print machinery
Maintain quality of printed product
Undertake operator maintenance
The items below will form part of our selection criteria;
Excellent computer literacy
Experienced at operating relevant print equipment
Experienced at finding and fixing operator faults
Experienced at checking print consistency / colour matching
Experienced at performing regular operator maintenance
The role will start on Monday 8th September, beginning with extended comprehensive training, before we slowly transition in to production.
