Job Description This permanent, part - time opportunity offers hands on experience in the OSHC industy. You'll be supported every step of the way by a Director of Service, ensuring you have everything you need to thrive in your role. Service Location: Located in Marrickville with a beautiful dedicated space and plenty of street parking available onsite. The service has a Program Manager, Director and a strong, regular team. You'll work across split shifts, Monday to Friday: BSC: 7:00 am - 9:00 am ASC: 2:30 pm - 6:00 pm ADMIN: 5 hrs ⭐The Role - Ready to Grow Your Leadership? As the Second in Charge (2IC), you'll be a key leader in delivering high-quality care and creating memorable experiences for the children in our service.This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about childcare and leadership, ready to make a meaningful impact on the children, parents, and team.Involved: Engage with the school community, attending events, assemblies.Innovation: Assist with the creation and implementation of enriching experiences based on the preferences of the children in your programGenuine: Foster genuine relationships with children and their families.Fun: Play and have FUN with primary school aged childrenRemarkable: Support with ensuring your program in compliance according to industry regulations.
The Successful Candidate:
✅ Ideally you have previous experience working in Before and After School Care or education, but this is by no means essential - we can train you!✅ Thrives in a fast-paced environment and still a big kid at heart! ✅ Confident communicator with children, parents, team members, and school principals. ✅You're a strong team player with excellent problem-solving skills and a can-do, positive attitude. ✅ Passionate about creating enriching experiences for primary-aged children. ✅ Energetic, enthusiastic, and love to have FUN! ✅ Relevant Diploma qualification (equivalent or working towards it) as per ACECQA standards.
