What you'll be doingIn this role you'll be delivering vital occupational health services that support staff wellbeing, safety, and compliance across WSLHD.
Providing immunisation and screening
Managing occupational exposure cases
Coordinating vaccination programs
Educating on health and wellbeing
Reporting compliance and statistics

Essential Criteria:
Registration: Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse or Registered Midwife
Selection Criteria:
Immunisation and Vaccination accreditation by Australian College of Nursing or recognised vaccination and immunisation accreditation
Demonstrated ability to facilitate change and implement new processes through training and education in a clinical setting
Demonstrated commitment to practising patient centred care
Recent clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in a hospital or community health setting, managing direct patient contact and working with a multidisciplinary team
Experience in or willingness to undertake training within 3-6 months of appointment in: o Venepuncture o Occupational exposure management o Tuberculosis screening
Awareness of workplace wellness programs and experience in involvement with health improvement programs, in addition to nursing interventions
Experience in managing a high volume of patient records
Well-developed computer literacy skills including: demonstrated experience in the use of clinical applications i.e. Cerner or equivalent; Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
