The Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District (ISLHD) is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Medical Officer Services Coordinator to join our Medical Workforce Unit. In this pivotal role, you'll oversee a key regional portfolio, providing expert advice and support on credentialing, recruitment, contract management, and policy implementation for Senior Medical Officers. With a strong focus on collaboration, leadership, and system optimisation, you'll also supervise support staff and manage critical SMO databases and platforms to ensure compliance and efficiency. Wollongong Hospital, located on Dharawal Country, is the Illawarra Shoalhaven's major referral and teaching hospital and has a bed-base count of more than 500. The campus, which incorporates the Illawarra Regional Cancer Care Centre, provides a comprehensive range of inpatient, outpatient and community-based services.
