About the teamAbout the National AI CentreThe National AI Centre was established to support the ambition to make Australia a world leader in AI innovation and responsible practices. The Centre's goal is focused on working with industry to unlock the positive potential of AI in Australia by delivering reliable information and trusted guidance to build confidence for all Australians.
The National AI Centre's mandate is to drive productivity and support the development of economic growth through AI adoption and diffusion. It works to build market intelligence on the adoption, acceleration, and impact of AI technology in Australian businesses and to develop an authoritative voice for Australian industry to trust as they develop AI solutions for the global market.
The NAIC team leads several high-profile initiatives such as Australia's AI Week, the AI Leadership Summit, AI Industry Connections, the AI Directory, and the development of the actionable guidance that supports the Governments voluntary guardrails. The opportunityThis role at the National AI Centre is focused on accelerating the adoption and innovation of AI across Australia's key industry sectors. The role focuses on building confidence, capability and clarity in the use of AI across industries. You will be responsible for designing and delivering high impact programs that bring stakeholders together, surface practical insights and generate specific sector guidance and case studies that inspire and inform broader adoption. You will lead NAIC's presence at major industry events such as conferences and forums.

Positions require a Baseline security clearance and successful candidates will be required to obtain and maintain a clearance at this level.
