Palm Lake Care's Toowoomba Community is currently looking 2x Part Time Housekeeping/Laundry Attendant's to work in our team. (WEEKDAYS & WEEKENDS combination of shifts)

If you love helping people, then your role in our community will make an incredible difference to each residents' lives and health. Cleanliness is at the forefront of health in an aged care community, and your position will be responsible for ensuring our residents are comfortable with the cleanliness of their suite and the broader community areas. Common areas will be cleaned daily including the removal of rubbish, dusting, vacuuming and mopping.
We are looking for someone with a great attitude who is ready and willing to learn. Above all, you will have empathy and a genuine care for each resident.

From dust and infection control to occupational health and safety, and an understanding of the role cleaning chemicals play in elder health, we are looking for a person with initiative and who is motivated with problem solving skills to contribute to our culture of safety for all residents.
Skills:
Experience in cleaning, preferably within aged care communities
An understanding of the role cleaning chemicals plays in elderly health.
Excellent hygiene standards
Readiness and willing to learn new skills.
Management of priorities and initiative
All applicants must be willing to provide a valid national police check and undergo a pre-employment medical assessment.
