About the role

We are currently seeking a skilled and safety-focused Hi Rail Excavator Operator to join our Rail Operations team in the Hunter Valley, NSW.

Key responsibilities

• Ability to operate Hi Rail Excavator.
• Operate machines in a safe and appropriate manner.
• Maintain and safety checks on mobile plant, equipment and company vehicles.
• Demonstrated ability to perform duties maintaining high standards in both safety and quality.

About you

• Confident operating relevant Hi Rail machinery.
• Valid Drivers Licence Class ‘C' or ‘HR'.
• Road-Rail Plant Operator - National & ARTC - Operator qualifications are a must. 
• Hold a valid Construction Induction (White Card) & Rail Industry Worker (RIW) Card.
• Demonstrate experience working in the rail construction industry.
• Demonstrate ability to perform duties maintaining high standards in both safety and quality. 

Preference of local people to Newcastle & Hunter region - no relocation assistance provided.
