About the Role
This casual Health Promotion Consultant maintains relationships with numerous CHG clients and is responsible for the implementation of a targeted and specific Health Promotion program.
Whilst autonomous on a day to day basis this position reports to the Client Relationship Manager and is part of a wider Health Promotion team. Furthermore this position interacts with other team members and their associated clients and is pivotal to the overall development and implementation of health programs to local and regional corporate clients.
Primary responsibilities of the role include the development and delivery of tailored health and wellbeing initiatives such as individual health assessments, seminars, reporting and coaching. This may also include on-site personal and group training programs.
Travel is a necessary component of the position and the successful applicant should expect they will be away from home approximately 60% of the year (March - December), Monday - Friday, within regional SA.
Whilst this is a casual position, it is expected that during the peak period (March - December), hours will be between 30-38 hours per week. Additionally, there are opportunities for professional development through training in CHG's clinics, where you can gain experience in pre-employment medical assessments, drug and alcohol screening, audiometric screening and functional assessment evaluations.

Skills and Experience
This is a dynamic and fast paced role that would ideally suit someone who is flexible, enjoys a challenge and is keen to explore the state of South Australia. Candidates who have a sharp eye for detail and have previously worked with highly confidential and sensitive information will be well placed as well as those who enjoy working at client sites for the successful delivery of Health Promotion Programs.
The successful candidate ideally will have a health background; Health Science or a Human Movement Degree, Certificate of Fitness, Diploma in Nutrition, Australian Strength and Conditioning Association qualifications or similar.
The successful candidate will have a current clean Drivers Licence, and willing to travel to various client sites across the state of South Australia.
