Conditions:
We need an experienced Medical Officer/s (PGY5 +) to cover the Inpatient Medical Ward at Casino Hospital so we can maintain 7day/week cover on an ongoing basis. The Doctor may also be asked to assist with emergencies in the ED while on duty as will the ED Doctors assist with any emergencies on the inpatient ward. The Doctor will be working as a Sole Practitioner in the ward with direct telephone links to Lismore Base Hospital Consultants. The locum will be supported in the Hospital by very experienced Senior Nurses in the ward and ED staff - Specialist (FACEM) who is rostered every day and ED RMO. The ED Medical Officers assist with any ward emergencies and cover the ward after hours. The following shifts need to be filled: 0800hours Saturday 12th July 2025 until Sunday 1800hours 13th July 2025 We can offer $180/hour for the right candidate. A provider number is required for Casino Hospital. We will provide accommodation, hire car. Please ensure any locum presented for our consideration is job ready and has current NSW working with children clearance, national criminal record clearance and has completed all mandatory training modules including eMR and eMEDS prior to commencement.
