Job DescriptionLooking for an experienced Forklift Operator / Line Sorter to join our esteemed client in the Mackay Region. Your new company This Australian-owned organisation provides solutions for recycling and resource recovery from waste.

Your new role In your new role as a Line Sorter / Forklift Operator, you'll be responsible for, but not limited to: Operate a forklift to transport materials to designated locations
Navigate forklifts in confined areas and handle loads safely Dispose of waste to safeguard equipment and materials Inspect and sort materials according to type, size, and condition
Follow safe work practices and adhere to OHS regulations at all times Support fellow team members in the plant with tasks such as sorting, as needed Notify management of any equipment faults or issues
What you'll need to succeed Have a current Forklift Licence - HRWL Ability to work in a manual handling role
Be living locally in the Mackay Region Ability to pass & complete a Drug & Alcohol Screen Have contactable references
What you'll get in return In return, you will be offered work on a Monday to Friday basis (potential weekends), up to 10 hours per shift. You will be paid an attractive hourly rate with penalties and super and you will be paid on a weekly basis.
