Expression of Interest - Experience Supervisor (Koala Conservation Reserve & Churchill Island Visitors Centre)

  • Fixed-term position - 29 June 2026 to 16 August 2026
  • Fulltime - 7-Day Monday to Sunday, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays and special events.

We are seeking expressions of interest from our internal team to provide leadership and operational oversight to the Koala Conservation Reserve & ChurchilI Island Visitor Experience team, ensuring staff and volunteers are supported to deliver exceptional visitor experience. In this role you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and presentation of the visitor centre, working closely with centralised departments to position the attraction as a must-see destination that drives visitation and revenue growth. The role also plays a key part in Emergency Management functions across the sites as required.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide guidance and supervision of daily operations ensuring the provision of excellent customer service and the delivery of high-quality experiences. 
  • Actively review and monitor visitor products and services, site presentation and safety on a regular basis and provide feedback and guidance to staff and management.
  • Act as key liaison for site operations including trade partners & MICE groups.
  • Ensure a high level of product knowledge is maintained to ensure quality control of information provided to visitors.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience managing customer service at a high level preferably within the tourism industry
  • Knowledge of key aspects of tourism operations and the ability to effectively implement policy and procedures
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Medium level of computer skills using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
