We are looking for an experienced Vet Nurse to join the Cannington team!
We’re on the lookout for an experienced Veterinary Nurse to join our wonderful Greencross Cannington team! About Your New Role
This is a part‑time position, offering a great balance between work and life. Your day‑to‑day will include:
- Delivering personalised, compassionate care to our patients and their owners
- Caring for, handling, and cleaning animals
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene throughout the clinic, including surgical areas and equipment
- Performing general nursing duties such as pre‑ and post‑operative care, pathology, anaesthetic monitoring, and assisting with emergency and critical care cases
- Performing minor procedures when required
- Reception duties, including being the first point of contact for clients, handling enquiries in person and over the phone, booking appointments, managing accounts, and admitting and discharging patients

We recognise the value that experienced and highly qualified nurses bring to the team. We offer competitive hourly rates, with higher pay available for nurses who hold advanced registration with the Veterinary Practice Board and bring a strong, demonstrated clinical skillset. About You
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
- 2+ years’ experience in a veterinary nursing role
- Excellent animal handling skills
- A strong knowledge and understanding of veterinary nursing procedures
- Good organisational, communication, and customer service skills
- A flexible, adaptable approach and enjoy working as part of a team
- Experience with Rx Works (ideal but not essential)
