Cabinet Maker / Delivery Driver (Hybrid Role)We're on the lookout for a practical, hands-on team member to join our workshop in a hybrid role that combines cabinet making with delivery driving. The ideal candidate will be someone with solid experience in timber joinery who's also comfortable on the road, delivering custom furniture to customers and trade partners.

This is not a traditional cabinet making role — while the majority of your time will be spent in the workshop assisting with production and finishing, you'll also be out on the road 2-3 times per week delivering our work to homes and warehouses. You'll play an important role in upholding our high standards of craftsmanship from build through to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

In the Workshop:

• Work with a range of solid hardwood timbers and timber veneers

• Assist with the assembly of custom cabinetry and furniture including tables, vanities, cabinets etc

• Operate woodworking machinery and tools safely and accurately

• Sand, oil, and finish timber surfaces using a variety of hard wax oils

• Assist with packing and general workshop support

• Help maintain a clean, safe and organised workspace

• Provide support to other team members

• Check over items for quality and finish prior to dispatch

On the Road:

• Drive our delivery truck to transport furniture to warehouses, job sites, and private residences (primarily metro)

• Assist with the loading, unloading, and fitting off of furniture items with another team member

• Communicate with customers and site managers in a professional manner

• Follow all safety, traffic, and delivery protocols to ensure safe handling of goods

What We're Looking For:

• Experience in cabinet making or custom joinery (trade qualifications ideal but not essential)

• Comfortable lifting and transporting large, heavy furniture pieces (with assistance)

• A good eye for detail and pride in delivering high-quality workmanship

• A current driver's licence (Truck licence preferred - HR)

• Someone dependable, practical, and happy to pitch in wherever needed
