Join us at Bunnings in either the Joondalup or Mindarie warehouse locations to work as a Department Manager. You will oversee daily operations, sales, and high‑volume stock management within your specialist area, supporting the overall store performance and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities\n
\n - Lead a team of 20+ members, maintaining a safe, engaged, and high‑performing environment.
\n - Perform duty manager duties, including opening and closing responsibilities on weekdays and weekends.
\n - Develop team capability in customer service, safety culture, and performance management.
\n - Rostering and strategic planning to meet the service promise.
\n - Drive department sales through strong merchandising, monitoring key metrics, and ensuring best pricing and range.
\n - Own stock accuracy: adjustments, replenishment discipline, and loss prevention.
\n - Monitor and measure customer service levels, liaising with Merchandising, Store Leadership, and Health & Safety.
\n - Build and maintain supplier relationships to support product availability.
\n - Handle a minimum of one in three weekends and public holiday work.

Qualifications & Experience\n
\n - Strong leadership and influencing skills with a focus on safety and wellbeing.
\n - Previous experience leading teams in retail or large, high‑volume customer‑focused environments.
\n - Demonstrated ability to open and close a store, supporting smooth operations.
\n - Experience in developing clear expectations, performance conversations, and recognition.
\n - Knowledge of merchandising excellence, sales performance, stock accuracy, and loss prevention.
\n - Comfortable wearing many hats, managing multiple stakeholders, and understanding KPIs while exceeding customer expectations.
