As a Maintenance Officer, you’ll be responsible for the upkeep, repair, and enhancement of facilities and equipment at Ocean Gardens. This role is hands‑on and diverse, encompassing building maintenance, preventative programs, and responding to repair requests. You’ll also supervise contractors, ensure compliance with safety standards, and help maintain the high‑quality living environment our residents deserve.

• Perform building maintenance, including minor refurbishments like painting and general repairs.
• Manage a preventative maintenance program and respond to repair requests promptly.
• Maintain the village pool and oversee the servicing of vehicles such as utes, buggies, and tractors.
• Supervise contractors and ensure work meets required standards.
• Ensure the safe use and storage of chemicals and hazardous substances.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities.
• Support the organisation’s Safety and Risk Management Program.

• Proven experience in maintenance and handyman duties.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
