About the Role - Cultural Heritage Advisor As a Cultural Heritage Advisor, you will support and provide advice on environmental requirements for the business as part of the broader environmental team. This role also involves assisting at the site level and stepping into corporate Specialist responsibilities when needed.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE YOU WILL NEED
  • Degree qualification in Archaeology, Anthropology, or related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Current “C” class Drivers License
  • Current first aid certificate
  • Cultural Heritage Advisor experience
  • Member of a relevant professional association or ability to acquire membership
  • Investigation trained or equivalent training or ability to acquire
  • Programming and data management
  • Strong knowledge of state and federal environmental and aboriginal cultural heritage legislative requirements, standards, and practices.
  • Demonstrated abilities in problem-solving, risk, and issue management, and data management and reporting.
  • Ability to work effectively with limited supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work competently in the field including reading and interpreting maps, navigating and using navigational aids (compass, GPS), and communications equipment (UHF/VHF radio, satellite phone).
