Arts Queensland (AQ) is looking for fixed-term temporary part-time OO5 Emergency Services Officer to work at the Queensland Cultural Centre (QCC) at South Brisbane. The maximum part-time hours are 60.8hours/fortnight with opportunities to pick up additional part-time shifts as operationally required. Key duties of this role include (not limited to): Oversee and respond to Fire, First Aid, Hazardous, and Environmental incidents at the QCC. Deliver Advanced First Aid and undertake duties during emergency operations at QCC. Supervise day-to-day fire prevention, protection, and safety functions for AQ properties, focusing on equipment and system checks. Attend events at QCC requiring specialised monitoring of fire systems and special effects. Provide high quality and timely fire, safety, and environmental emergency assistance, in addition to maintaining accurate records and files relating to these matters. Maintain effective liaison with relevant stakeholders, providing accurate and effective advice about fire, first aid, safety, or environmental emergency issues, as required.
