This Job will enable university students and sports fans completing a relevant degree in PDHPE teaching, Sports Coaching/Science or Human Movement to get experience whilst studying with flexible hours with future permanent opportunities for the right candidates.
We provide for:
Pre-schools, primary schools, secondary schools, community centres, OOSH centres, vacation care centres, school holiday clinics, birthday parties, clubs as well as adult/corporate fitness.
About the Role:
Multi Sports Coach- Casual
- Must be available to work Must be available to work during school hours
- Date Commencing: Immediate start

- Pay is dependent on Qualifications and experience
Responsibilities and Duties
- Teach Fundamental Skills: Instruct participants in the fundamental skills required for the activity or sport, tailored to an adult group with intellectual disabilities. This includes but is not limited to techniques, rules, and strategies relevant to the specific sport or activity.
- Facilitate Activities and Modified Games: Lead and oversee the implementation of activities and modified games designed to enhance participants engagement, enjoyment, and skill development. Modify games and activities as necessary to accommodate the needs and abilities of the group.
- High Energy Coaching: Bring a high level of energy and enthsm to coaching sessions to engage and motivate participants effectively. Foster a positive and supportive environment that encourages active participation and enjoyment.
- Plan Creative Sessions: Develop and plan creative coaching sessions that are both fun and educational. Incorporate a variety of drills, exercises, and activities to keep sessions dynamic and interesting, while also focusing on skill acquisition and improvement.
- Adjust to Group Needs: Be adaptable and flexible in session planning and delivery to meet the specific needs and preferences of the group. Recognize and respond to individual differences in skill level, learning style, and communication abilities.

Essential Criteria:
- Must be available for the School Term (end of October-end of December)
- Must have a Working with Children Check Clearance number. https://www.vic.gov.au/working-with-children-check
- 1 year of playing Competitive or Recreational Sport. OR full training will be provided for the right candidates who show initiative, enthsm and capability to learn.
The successful candidate will be required to complete the free online coaching and officiating courses:

Other Desirable Criteria:
- First Aid
- Drivers License
- Coaching Accreditation such as a Level 1 or 2

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
